We are a group of young, lively and energetic people. We unashamed of the gospel and desire to serve as the representation of God’s love (Romance 1:16).
Though we are broken and scared we yearn for God’s guidance in our lives and to be molded by Him into vessels that can be used to reach out to our generation.
The river of God Church youths are called ‘Broken Jars’. The name connotes that they have weaknesses and therefore are still in the need of the porter to put them back together.
Membership is for Youth between ages 18-25 years.
Stretch is an annual race organized by the River of God Youth who go by the name Broken Jars.
The race is no ordinary one as it includes pit shops, clues that need to be figured out and challenges to be conquered!Contestants are required are required to be in teams of two, of great mental speed and intellect, and display physical endurance.
The race is called stretch as it reflects our Christian lives where we at times feel like our perseverance through life’s challenges are stretched to the maximum.
We forget that in Matthew 10:29, alongside the rewards promised to us by Christ are persecutions and suffering. When we endure through our challenges and fellowship with other Christians, we push through and run the good race through the strength provided to us by Christ Jesus.
